Julee Haley

Performance Coach & Director of Operations

  • Julee Haley has 17 years of experience coaching athletes across various sports. She spent 10 years at Movement Training Systems, training high school, college, and professional athletes, including at Columbia University. Currently, she’s an assistant coach at Valor Christian High School, where she helped lead the team to multiple state championships. Julee is also the sprints coach for KSP’s Steadfast Track Academy, the gym’s in-house youth and high school indoor track and field club. A certified coach with the Colorado State Association of Athletics and USA Track & Field, Julee is also a former pole vaulter at the University of Northern Colorado, where she was part of the first female athletes to compete in the event.

Markus Miller

Performance Coach & Director of Performance

  • Markus earned his B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of New Mexico in 2016 and was a top-10 all-time high jumper for the UNM track team. With 14 years of experience in track and field and 10 years in sports performance coaching, he is the head track & field coach at Valor Christian High School and Steadfast Track Academy. Markus specializes in speed and strength coaching, aiming to develop mindful and resilient athletes. His certifications include CSCS, USA Track & Field Level 1, and USA-Weightlifting Level 1.

Jonny Bridgewater

Performance Coach & Director of Elite Athlete Development

  • Coach Bridgewater brings decades of experience in speed development and sports performance. Coach Bridgewater believes that sports enhancement is not only a matter of physical skills, but also of mental and emotional skills and thrives in creating a positive and supportive environment for all of his clients and teams. A few of his notable clients include Tyler Herro (Miami Heat), Sam Hauser (Boston Celtics),Braelon Allen (NY Jets), Anthony Pettit (UFC) and many more.

Deion Yutzy

Performance Coach

  • Deion brings a strong background in athletics and coaching, with six years of experience coaching high school football and track. As a former collegiate athlete at Kansas Wesleyan, where he played football and ran track, Deion combines firsthand knowledge of competitive sports with a passion for developing athletes. With a foundation in Exercise Science and a minor in Coaching, Deion is committed to helping athletes excel both on and off the field. 

Grayson Burrow

Performance Coach & Assessment Coordinator

  • Grayson holds a degree in Exercise Science from Colorado State University and brings years of experience in personal training, sports performance, and group fitness to KSP. Originally from Arizona, he grew up competing in swimming and basketball, fueling his passion for athletic development. Grayson's diverse background and commitment to helping others maximize their potential make him a valuable addition to the KSP team.

Tanner Gentry

Performance Coach

  • Matt graduated from Taylor University, where he played soccer and worked as a part-time strength and conditioning coach for the team. He holds a degree in Exercise Science and discovered his passion for sports performance while working on the university's research team, studying VO2 max data and distance running. This experience sparked his desire to help athletes optimize their performance through evidence-based training methods. Matt brings a deep understanding of physiology, movement, and athletic development to KSP, helping athletes of all levels improve their strength, speed, and overall performance.

Matt Harrold

  • Tanner Gentry brings a wealth of athletic experience to our team, drawing from his impressive football career. A standout wide receiver at the University of Wyoming, Tanner tallied over 1,300 yards during his senior season before signing with the Chicago Bears in 2017. His professional journey also includes playing in the XFL, with the Buffalo Bills, and most recently, with the Toronto Argonauts. Tanner’s firsthand experience competing at the highest levels of the sport makes him a valuable asset to our athletes. Specializing in working with pro-day and NFL combine athletes, Tanner is passionate about helping others unlock their full potential.

Maddy Dustin

Performance Coach

  • Maddy holds a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Human Health and Performance with minors in Psychology and Pre-Health Studies, as well as a master’s degree in Movement Sciences with a focus on Biomechanics and Exercise Physiology, both from the University of Idaho. As a collegiate short sprinter, she combines firsthand athletic experience with academic expertise. Maddy also conducted research on balance and gait patterns in individuals with multiple sclerosis and stroke patients. With two years as a sports performance coach, she’s ready to help athletes reach new heights.

Jared Cooper

  • Born and raised in Littleton, Colorado, and a former 1st team all-conference wide receiver, Jared earned a degree in Health and Exercise Science from Colorado State University. He gained experience with Carmichael Training Systems, Sportxcel, MuvLab, and The Institute at Panorama Orthopedic and Spine, where he worked with professional athletes and developed performance programs. He is now at Kula Sports Performance, using his expertise in Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT) to optimize performance and prevent injuries, offering personalized programs for athletes of all levels. His focus is on identifying asymmetrical movements to reduce injury and enhance overall performance.

  • Jacob is a certified Strength & Conditioning Coach with a passion for unlocking athletic potential. With a background as both a high-level athlete and coach, he specializes in hybrid training that blends strength, speed, and endurance development. Continuously pursuing education in athletic performance programming, Jacob uses a structured, science-based approach to help athletes improve performance and build resilience. His philosophy centers on helping athletes move better, get stronger, and perform at their highest level—whether they're chasing personal bests or competing at the next level.

  • Stephen brings a diverse athletic and coaching background to KSP, with experience across basketball, football, and track & field. A former Academic All-American basketball player at Trinidad State JC and UCCS, he earned pro tryouts with Club Stadio de Santiago and FIBA 3x3. Stephen holds certifications including CSCS, CPT, PN-1, FMS-1, and USA Weightlifting. As a coach, he's worked with football, basketball, and track athletes, specializing in strength, speed development, and performance enhancement. Stephen is passionate about helping athletes at all levels elevate their game and reach their full potential.

  • Katy is a Certified Fitness and Holistic Health Coach with a passion for empowering others through functional fitness. With certifications from the American Fitness Professionals & Associates and the Athletics and Fitness Association of America, she specializes in power training and group fitness. Her athletic journey began at nine, playing competitive women’s ice hockey, sparking her love for fitness and mental performance. For over five years, she’s helped clients build strength, confidence, and resilience. Outside of coaching, Katy enjoys exploring Colorado’s outdoors—hiking, biking, snowboarding, and paddleboarding—living the active lifestyle she inspires in others.

  • Cobi Watson is a dynamic performance coach with a background as a former collegiate cheerleader, where she developed her skills in strength, agility, and teamwork. With years of experience working with athletes of all levels, she specializes in creating customized training programs that enhance athletic performance, build endurance, and boost confidence. Passionate about empowering others, Cobi is dedicated to helping athletes unlock their full potential—both physically and mentally. Her energy, knowledge, and commitment to personal growth inspire those she coaches to push boundaries and achieve their goals.

  • Brandon Johnson is a dedicated Sports Performance Coach with a passion for developing high-level athletes. He holds a bachelor's degree in Sports and Health Sciences with a concentration in Exercise Science from American Military University, along with certifications including Pre-Script Levels 1, 2, and 3, Pre-Script Programming Design, and Rethinking the Big Patterns. A former multi-sport athlete, Brandon served nine years in the Air Force before transitioning into coaching. He has trained athletes for the 2024 NFL Combine and continues to help athletes build strength, intensity, and focus to compete at the highest level.

  • Deacon Nagy is a dedicated coach with a strong athletic and academic background. He will graduate this May with a Bachelor's Degree in Integrative Physiology (Human Biology) from CU and holds an Associate's Degree in Kinesiology from Saddleback College. Deacon played D1 Baseball at the University of St. Thomas and JUCO Baseball at Saddleback College, specializing in pitching. With two years of coaching experience at KSP, he is passionate about building well-rounded athletes. His coaching philosophy centers on developing athleticism, healthy movement patterns, mobility strength, and explosive force production, rather than focusing on sport-specific training.

  • Jack Buis is a dedicated performance coach with a background in collegiate football, CrossFit, and Olympic weightlifting. After his football career, he turned to CrossFit to stay in shape and expand his fitness knowledge, which soon led to coaching. For the past three years, Jack has coached CrossFit, provided personal training, and competed in Olympic weightlifting. Passionate about continuous growth, he is eager to deepen his expertise in sports performance and help athletes build strength, resilience, and athleticism. Jack’s coaching approach focuses on developing well-rounded athletes and guiding individuals toward their full potential.

Alexa Eise

  • Alexa Eise is a dedicated performance coach with a background in competitive cheerleading. As a five-year collegiate cheerleader at Texas Tech University, she helped lead her team to victory at the 2024 NCA College Nationals in the Advanced Small Coed Division 1A. Alexa specializes in building confidence through strength training, empowering athletes to develop both physical and mental resilience. Her coaching philosophy focuses on unlocking potential, fostering self-belief, and helping individuals achieve their goals through strength and performance training. Alexa is passionate about guiding others to push past their limits and grow in both skill and mindset.

Jerom Adams

  • Jerom Adams is a certified personal trainer at Kula Sports Performance, specializing in functional movement and balance. He holds certifications from ISSA, NASM, AfSA, and ACE, bringing a diverse skill set to his training. Jerom played basketball and rugby in college and has studied martial arts from the age of four, continuing to train to this day. His holistic approach helps clients improve strength, mobility, and overall movement quality. Passionate about helping others reach their goals, Jerom empowers individuals to move better, feel stronger, and live healthier lives.

Gab Marinelli

  • Gab holds a degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Temple University and is a NASM-certified personal trainer with additional certifications in Precision Nutrition (PNL-1) and USA Weightlifting (USAWL-1). With seven years of personal training experience, Gab has spent five years coaching youth athletes in basketball and Olympic weightlifting. A former college basketball player and competitive Olympic weightlifter, Gab is passionate about sports performance, female strength training, and performance nutrition. Their coaching philosophy emphasizes individualized programming and long-term athletic development, ensuring each athlete builds strength, resilience, and confidence for sustained success in their sport.

  • Jake brings a wealth of experience in football and athletic development to Kula Sports Performance. He played four years as a wide receiver at the collegiate level, starting at Central Lakes College before earning his Physical Education degree from St. Cloud State. His coaching journey began with Ducks7v7 four years ago, a pivotal part of his success. He has since coached high school football for three seasons and worked with Juwan Mitchell at CU for his NFL Pro Day. Jake thrives on exploring different coaching philosophies, always striving for the most fun and efficient way to get the job done.

  • Skip is the former Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Denver Broncos ('84–'89), Detroit Lions ('89–'90), and Colorado Avalanche ('95–'99). He's coached legends like John Elway, Tony Dorsett, Barry Sanders, and Joe Sakic, earning Super Bowl and Stanley Cup titles along the way. With decades of experience at the highest level, Skip is passionate about serving his community—helping youth athletes to 50+ year-old clients build strength, improve performance, and prevent injuries. His knowledge and dedication make him an invaluable resource for athletes of all ages.

  • With experience coaching professional athletes, Division 1 National Champions, and a 2022 FIFA World Cup participant, Zak brings a results-driven approach to strength and conditioning. Personally trained by Ben Patrick, also known as the Knees Over Toes Guy, he utilizes cutting-edge methods that outperform traditional training techniques. To date, he has helped over 40 athletes return from serious knee injuries to compete at a high level—without a single case of re-injury. His innovative approach prioritizes longevity, performance, and unlocking each athlete’s full potential.

Tyrel’s training philosophy emphasizes dynamic movement and rotation through multiple planes of motion to build strength, resilience, and athleticism.
